How should I treat this girl?

We've been texting back and forth for over year, just as friends. We actually saw each other a few times, but it's kind of hard because we live in different cities. However recently, within the past month or so, we've been talking much more; it's mostly her initiating conversation, telling me about her guy problems and stuff like that. I did have a romantic interest in her at point (she's stunningly beautiful and seemed like a good character), so it kind of annoyed me that, out of nowhere, she started mentioning how she's stuck between these two guys. At that point I lost interest in her romantically, but I thought, "hey, you can never have enough friends"--right? Anyways, now, she texts me on a daily basis--which is fine with me--but everything is always about her, and most of the time I can sense that she's just fishing for compliments (i.e. she sends me hot lingerie pictures, and says, "Do you think I look fat?"). It just got kind of annoying, real fast. I just want to stop communication with her, but I don't want to say anything to her, because I figure she'll erupt with drama and we have loads of mutual friends, so yeah. Do you I think I should just coldly ignore her? Or seem uninterested and leave subtle little hints, like one word replies, to show that I'm not interested in talking to her anymore?
